My name is Ben Vete. I'm 19. The first song is Red Roses, the second one I picked was Emma Watson. This song featured a full band, upbeat, energetic, and it seemed like it was a lot of fun to play. I started singing when I was 5, picked up the guitar at around 13, and started playing bass seriously for about 3 years now. I also played tuba in high school, and I'm looking to start playing again, although I do not have a tuba of my own. Everything has been self taught, but I do have a pretty good knowledge of some music theory. I can play by ear, and I am a fast learner. I wouldn't say I have mastered the bass, but I feel I can hold my own on the bass. I grew up singing and playing in the church, learning most of my stage presence in church. I have been in many choirs, including my high school's elite choir. I started playing more secular shows in high school, playing at talent shows and any event at school where I was allowed to play music. I listen to alot of rock, blues, rap, reggae and jazz. I've been playing mostly blues, rock and a bit of funk, and I'm currently trying to tackle jazz. I really honestly listen to a little bit of everything. My main influences would be The Beatles, James Jamerson, and pretty much whatever I'm listening to alot of at the time. I've been in a few bands as the bassist and lead singer. The petition letter, which was circulated amongst high level officials of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), caused a shock. However, the CCP Politics and Law Committee ruled by Zhou Yongkang began to threaten and retaliate against villagers, trying to find the original copy of that petition letter. The staff of the Working Group threatened the villagers daily, forcing them to admit that they placed their finger prints against their will. Well, the former US Ambassador to China, John Huntsman, has confirmed that Chinese regime leader Hu Jintao did not know about that test flight in January 2011, which took place during a visit by US Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Huntsman was in New York on Wednesday, attending an event organized by the National Committee on United States-China Relations. Huntsman said Secretary Gates was not pleased about the J-20 test flight, and brought it up with Chinese leader Hu Jintao. Huntsman said Hu was taken by surprise. TheGreatNude crew headed downtown to an art event called "Adult Life Drawing" last summer, presented by the Zoppa Brothers, who have created a wonderfully theatrical experience that has become a favorite "Night Out" for fans of TheGreatNude.tv here in NYC. The Zoppas have been holding these events for several years now, assembling a dozen young models from the "Adult Video" industry into a room full of eager, seriously minded artists, all ready to draw from the live nude model. Many of the models are made more interesting for their unusual anatomical features, and the wide range of accompanyting body piercings and tatoos. (Think Egon Schiele with a modern twist!) Que up the excellent house music, and a glass of red wine, and you're ready for a night of intense, fast-paced drawing. This was a colorful, baudy show staged in a modern cavernous space. Models posed for 5, 10, and 20 minutes sets that benefited from some very appreciated art direction.This piece is really dear to me. I like my choreography to match the current events in my life and this piece does just that. So for everyone out there who has that special someone, this is for you. It stated that in 2011, the Chinese regime launched one of the harshest crackdowns on dissent since June 4, 1989. Ge Lifang, Chairman of China Petitioner League said that the priority to consider now is whether the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) should still exist. The AI report mentioned various aspects of China's human rights. These included freedom of speech, activists' situations, land robbery and demolition. It also included human rights violations in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and Tibet. The report said that the CCP unleashed one of the harshest crackdowns on dissent since 1989. The CCP were fearful of a protest movement inspired by events in the Middle East and North Africa, in Feb 2011. Harassment, intimidation, arbitrary and illegal detention, and enforced disappearance towards dissent intensified. The report points out that China's economic strength during the global financial crisis increased the country's leverage in the domain of global human rights, mostly for the worse. China's Ministry of Finance 2011 budget report stated internal security spending was US$98 billion. This exceeded national defense budgets.
